Did you know that St. Patty's Day is more than legends and fun traditions? Saint Patrick was kidnapped by pirates and spent several years in Ireland as a slave. After he escaped to England and studied in the church, he eventually returned to Ireland (and the Irish people that he had come to love) as a missionary!
